Credentialing Media
Media credentials are granted to those who meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Paid by a commercial print publication or broadcast network that receives its funding through subscriptions and/or paid advertising. (A publication of an internal organization or information gathering for a website do not meet
this criterion.)
- Write or broadcast for a publication put out by a government agency. (Government contracted and/or support organizations do not meet
this criterion.)
- Freelance writers are eligible with proof that they are under contract to produce a story for print or broadcast that meets criteria #1 or #2 above.
Approved media must register in advance. AFVi reserves the right to refuse media and to limit the number of registrations made available per organization. Evidence of your media affiliation will be requested.
How to apply for credentials:Complete the application form just below. Filling out the form does not automatically ensure a credential. Upon reviewing your request, AFVi will contact you.
